NURSING HOME

The design of the nursing home is based on the combination of the Dutch modern concept and the traditional Chinese culture. The Dutch advanced concept of old-age care provides the core concept for the design. The traditional Chinese house provides a strong reference for the spatial layout. The design itself is a perfect innovative localization of traditional ideas. The design tries to break the loneliness of old age, enhance their interaction with the outside world, and also to achieve the SSCIP’s vision - “the World, in One City”.
