91 innovation and entrepreneurship incubators have been built, with a total area of 4.25 million square meters and 78 public technology platforms. The overall scale and level are ranked high in the country.

It has gathered 482,000 talents of various types, and has introduced 6 Nobel Prize winners and 19 academicians of the two academies. The government strongly supports the all kinds of technological innovation, international cooperation, coordinated innovation in leading large enterprises and grassroots innovation and entrepreneurship. The main body of innovation has grown rapidly, gathering more than 18,000 innovative and entrepreneurial enterprises.

Established a full-chain intellectual property service system such as China (Sichuan) Intellectual Property Protection Center, established the 1st intellectual property service alliance in Sichuan Province, and gathered more than 100 IP service agencies. In 2017, the number of invention patent applications was more than 15,000, and the number of valid invention patents per 10,000 persons was 124.
