In 2017, the total output value of new economy in Chengdu high-tech zone reached 330 billion yuan among which that of “the new economic vigorous area” accounted for 170 billion yuan. Currently, Chengdu high-tech zone has over 80,000 new economy enterprises including 1 leading industry platform enterprise, 3 unicorn enterprises (30 potential unicorn enterprises), 60 gazelle fast growing enterprises and 520 eyas seed enterprises. By 2020, it aims to cultivate 5 leading ecosystem enterprise, 10 unicorn enterprises, 150 gazelle fast growing enterprises and 1000 eyas seed enterprises.
