Construction of SSCIP in Full Swing:Xinchuan Heartbeat Central Park (West Park) to be Completed Soon

In the first quarter of 2016, the construction of Singapore-Sichuan Hi-Tech Innovation Park (SSCIP) has been continuously boosted in every aspect. As for road construction, 6 roads have been completed, 10 roads are under construction, and branch roads in clusters 1, 2, 3 and 4 will be commenced successively in the second quarter of this year. In respect of landscaping, leakage-proofing construction of the lake in the west park of Xinchuan Heartbeat Central Park has been basically completed, while impoundment, plants planting and pavement are still under construction. The west park is expected to be completed this June. Moreover, the road landscaping of Heying Avenue and Hongxing Road South Extension have already been completed, and the landscaping of New Chengren Road was commenced in January and expected to be completed in June. For municipal project construction, a sewage pump station, the project of reclaimed water reuse in wetlands and riverbed improvement of Xi Wa Yan and Bai Yang Gou are under construction.

Xinchuan Heartbeat Central Park is a key project in SSCIP’s construction. Construction work of the west park had been commenced since 2015, and it is expected to be basically completed in June. The construction of the east park of "Xinchuan Heartbeat Central Park" will be commenced in the second half of this year.

Xinchuan Heartbeat Central Park consists the west and the east zones. The west park is built around a lake, endowed with stunning sceneries, while the east is surrounded by grassy fields, bestowed with lush landscaping. SSCIP will build many scenic spots, including Gingko Square, Nebula Square, Sunshine Lawn, Sports Park in this 600,000m2 park.
