As a demonstration of its commitment to biomedicine, SSCIP became the main sponsor of the 16th Shanghai International Forum on Biotechnology & Pharmaceutical Industry (BIO-FORUM 2014) held at Shanghai Convention & Exhibition Center of International Sourcing on 22-24 May 2014. Mr. Chong Joon Woon, on behalf of SSCIP, together with Chairman and CEO of HitGen, presented Chengdu’s competitive edge and SSCIP’s industry planning strategy in the seminar. The presentation title was “Harnessing the Biomedical Potential in West China”.
After the talk, Mr. Chong met several top biomedical industry leaders, such as Mr. Xia Mingde, Senior Director of Johnson & Johnson Innovation, and Mr. Yang Zhiyong, President of Chinese-American Biomedical Association. These meetings served as a very crucial primary foundation for future collaboration. SSCIP investment promotion department also set up a promotion booth at the seminar for investors with further queries.
