Sino-Singapore (Chengdu) Innovation Park (SSCIP) Development Co., Ltd and Chengdu Hi-Tech (CDHT) Zone Management Committee co-organized the highly successful Singapore-Sichuan Hi-Tech Innovation Park Promotion Conference at Shenzhen Langham Hotel on 11 Jun 2014.
Mr. Yuan Zong Yong, Deputy Director of CDHT Management Committee, began by sharing about Chengdu’s abundant industrial resources, its competitiveness and the attractive incentives CDHT has to offer. Next, Mr. Martin Cui Wei, CEO of SSCIP, briefly introduced SSCIP and the park’s latest progress. He elaborated on its significant milestones, infrastructure development and most importantly, its focus in biomedical and IT industries. The conference has attracted 64 renowned international and leading local corporations from Interactive Digital Media, Biomedical Science, High-End Manufacturing & Assembly and Producer Services. Influential leaders from Shenzhen Power Leader Investment Holding Co., Ltd, Shenzhen State Micro Electronics Co., Ltd and ASM Pacific Technology Ltd even shared their investment experiences in Chengdu and their evaluation of its potential in the future.
This event proved to be a successful promotion of Chengdu and SSCIP as it further strengthened communication and exchange of ideas with the targeted corporations. Other key companies such as Mindray Medical International Limited, BBK Communication Technology Co. Ltd, Amer International Group, Shenzhen Xinguodu Technology CO.LTD, Han's Laser Technology Co., Ltd, Shenzhen Beike Biotechnology Co., Ltd, China Merchants Bank, Hong Kong Keane Group, as well as various relevant government bodies also attended the event. Mr. Martin Cui Wei and Mr. Chong Joon Woon, VP of Sembcorp Development, had an informal interactive session with the participants over dinner, exchanging views on investing in Chengdu and SSCIP.
