Landscape Demonstration Section of Heying Avenue Completed and Road Construction Accelerated

Three of the 11 roads in Singapore-Sichuan Hi-Tech Innovation Park (SSCIP) have been completed and the remaining are under construction. (Please refer to the chart below for the details of these projects.) The construction of landscape demonstration section of Heying Avenue has been completed.

Construction Projects Layout

Heying Avenue, 2.9km in length and 40m in width, is an east-west trunk road in the park with a 10m wide greenbelt on the northern edge and a 30m wide on the southern edge. The well-arranged vegetation landscape along Heying Avenue is decorated with evergreen floras of various colors. Hackberry, cinnamomum camphora, michelia chapensis, oriental cherry and prunus cerasifera are easily found in this verdant region. Woodland grass slopes cover along the avenue, which brings about a natural and refreshing environment. Upon completion, Heying Avenue will become not only a recreational greenway for sightseeing and leisure, but also an ecological avenue where passer-by can embrace the luxuriantly green!
