Fan Ruiping inspected SSCIP AI International Innovation Center

On April 25, 2018, Mr. Fan Ruiping, Chengdu Municipal Party Committee Secretary went to Chengdu High-tech Zone to investigate and instructed the activities of “Big Learning, Big Discussion, and Big Research” initiatives. During the investigation, Fan Ruiping came to the SSCIP AI International Innovation Center and exchanged with the people in charge of the project to learn more about the operation of the center and its planning and construction progress.

Fan Ruiping pointed out that the government will support and foster local enterprises to become bigger and stronger, cultivate and introduce more unicorns, gazelle enterprises through market resource allocation and government-led investment funds. At the same time the masterplan and the management guidelines of industrial parks should be kept being updated. He also instructed that tech parks should pay more attention to human-orientated design, create more open space and accelerate the construction of new economic vitality zone.
