As one of the series of the Singapore-Sichuan Trade and Investment Committee's 20th meeting, the “Singapore-Sichuan Digital Economy Conference” was held at the same venue on the same day. The Singapore-Sichuan Digital Economy Conference was hosted by Enterprise Singapore, Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Economic Cooperation, Chengdu Hi-tech Zone Administrative Committee, and organized by SSCIP to promote exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in the digital economy field. More than 100 Singaporean SMEs participated in the conference, exchanged ideas and explored opportunities for cooperation with Sichuan and Chengdu.

At the meeting, Mr Yi Yang, Deputy Director General, Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Economic Cooperation, Ms Foo An Gie, Deputy Director, China Division, Enterprise Singapore, Mr Chen Hongtao, Deputy Director, Chengdu Hi-tech Zone Administrative Committee delivered a speech on behalf of Chengdu High-tech Zone (CDHT) delivered speeches respectively. The CDHT New Economy Bureau made a presentation on CDHT Central Activities Zone, Professor Cai Yiyu, Director of CAE Laboratory of NTU made a keynote speech entitled “intelligence education, bilateral collaboration”. Subsequently, in the round-table discussion session entitled “how to tap on Chengdu’s industry resources and capabilities to enter China market and how to set up in Singapore Innovation Center”, Professor Cai Yiyu served as the moderator, Albert Wong, General Manager (China), Ademco Security Group, Adrian Leong,Executive Vice President, IMC Captasia Group and Ray Liu, CEO of SinoVision, participated in the roundtable discussion and recommend Chengdu and Singapore Innovation Center in SSCIP to all the audiences. Finally, Mr Tianli represent SSCIP to give a presentation to promote Singapore Innovation Center. The presentation highlights the unique charm of the city of Chengdu, the platform and unique advantages of the Singapore Innovation Center.
