SSCIP attended China(Sichuan)- Netherlands Economic and Trade Cooperation Seminar
On the morning of May 20, 2019, China(Sichuan)- Netherlands Economic and Trade Cooperation Seminar, hosted by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, jointly organized by the Sichuan Economic Cooperation Bureau, the Sichuan Foreign Affairs Office and the Dutch Enterprise Service Bureau was successfully held in Amsterdam. Peng Qinghua, secretary of the Sichuan provincial party committee, attended the meeting and delivered a keynote speech. Chen Guanghao, director of the Sichuan Provincial Economic Cooperation Bureau hosted the meeting. The event received wide attention from all walks of life in the Netherlands. The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Dutch Limburg Province, the Governor and the Deputy Governor of Friesland led a delegation of government and enterprises to attend the conference. Nearly one hundred decision makers from Dutch well-known enterprises and business association leaders, including Royal Dutch Airlines, Royal Friesland, Royal DSM, Akzo Nobel and more than 30 Sichuan enterprises and colleges with international cooperation intentions to work with Netherlands attended the conference. The industries included financial investment and services, cultural creativity, medical health, clean energy, new materials, modern logistics, garden tourism, flower agriculture and other fields.
The “Creative Holland” project which will be settled in China Europe Center of Chengdu High-tech Zone held its launching ceremony during the conference. Creative Holland is an initiative of the Dutch Creative Industries, powered by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science in close collaboration with many partners and operated by the Federatie Dutch Creative Industries. It will integrate Dutch political and business resources to promote the cooperation and development of Chinese and Dutch creative industries in digital creation, architectural design, music and entertainment. The main operator of project plans to settle in CDHT in the first half of 2019.

SSCIP investment team went to Creative Holland to participate in project roadshow
On the afternoon of May 20, 2019, the SSCIP investment team went to Creative Holland to participate in 5 roadshows to be settled in Sichuan, including big data visualization and smart city application, Van Gogh Museum new media show, global famous TV show production and IP construction, visual design and city visual guidance system (Schipol Airport visual guidance system design Team) and Amsterdam Light Festival.
SSCIP investment team visited High Tech Campus Eindhoven
On May 21, 2019, the SSCIP investment team visited the High Tech Campus Eindhoven in the Netherlands with the CDHT delegation to learn more about the overall development of the park and representative enterprises, as well as the creation of public technology platforms, business incubation, industrial ecology construction, and profit model. The High Tech Campus Eindhoven is home to more than 185 companies and institutions, focusing on electronic information, healthcare, energy and smart cities, with more than 12,000 employees from 85 countries working here. Campus companies are responsible for nearly 40% of all Dutch patent applications, and the number of patents per capita per km2 ranks first in the world, and is known as “the world's the smartest km²”. The High Tech Campus Eindhoven provides Co-Working office space for companies to enter and encourages active communication.

On May 23, 2019, the SSCIP investment team visited Zurich Bio-Technopark, a well-known technology park, and had an in-depth exchange with the park CEO Mario Jenni to discuss the management and operation experience of the technology park.
SSCIP attended Sichuan and Bavaria Economy and Trade Cooperation Conference
On May 24, 2019, the Sichuan and Bavaria Economy and Trade Cooperation Conference and Project Signing Ceremony was successfully held in Munich, Germany. Hundreds of representatives from the political and business fields of Sino-German exchanges and cooperation, as well as well-known German companies and SME leaders attended the conference. Peng Qinghua, secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee, made a keynote speech. Carl Fowler, First Deputy Speaker of the Bavarian State Assembly, Zhang Yue, Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Munich, and Sandro Colcher, Chairman of the Economic Committee of the Bavarian State Council, delivered speeches respectively. Du Wenzhao, vice president of Bosch Group of Germany, Zhang Sheng, secretary of Chengdu Qingbaijiang District Party Committee, and Stefan Boegl, chairman of Max Boegl Group made sharing speeches. The Sino-German SME Cooperation Zone Special Promotion Conference was held later. More than 140 Sichuan and German companies had face-to-face exchanges and 13 major project investment agreements, involving high-end equipment manufacturing, rail transportation, new energy, new materials and industrial digitalization fields, signed at the special promotion conference.
