With a road density of 9.98km/km2 and a network of “three horizontal and three vertical main roads”, secondary lanes and streets, there is a high level of accessibility and connectivity within and out of SSCIP.
In 2014, Singapore-Sichuan High-Tech Innovation Park continued construction of 6 main roads which commenced in 2013, started work on 5 new roads and completed the preliminary design and setting for 16 new roads.
At the end of 2014, the "three horizontal and three vertical main roads" in the park saw smooth progress. The Hongxing Road Southern Extension had been 97% completed; the New Chengren Road had been 74% completed; the Chengren Expressway and Heying Avenue had been completed; Xinchuan Avenue has been 60% completed; Huayang Avenue would commerce construction in 2015. As for the secondary artery roads, the West Line 3, Chuangxin Avenue and North E Line, had been undergoing earth excavation. Meanwhile, the preparative work had been initiated for the construction of West Ring Road and Line B.
